Strengths:Easy to install, less character drop than Belking media pilot, easy wake-up keyboard with key touch, small footprint.

Weaknesses:No media controls, should be available in other colors

Summary:I miss the basic media functions like mute, vol control, but if you want a keyboard more than a media center control device, this is a good choice. I wish it came in straight black so it would be less obvious in the room. Overall it works well if you have a remote for the media center and use this keyboard for surfing from the couch or kitchen. Range is good, scroll feature on the touchpad is nice, but a little difficult to use. I use with 4 AAA 15 minute rechargables and have yet to recharge them after a week.

Strengths:Worked right out of the box - batteries included! Integrated touchpad and scroll pad works well. Light and compact.

Weaknesses:Expensive. Mouse buttons hard to reach. Wish it had more keys. Might be too small for some.

Summary:I just build a Home Theater PC and needed a keyboard and mouse I could use on the couch, and this fits the bill nicely. This is the only wireless keyboard I could find that has an integrated touchpad. The Windows MCE keyboard was just too ungainly and I like touchpads over joysticks for mouse control.

It was simple to set up. I just popped in the included batteries (real energizer no less), installed the USB antenna in my computer, and after my system booted up, you just press a button on the antenna and a couple of keys on the keyboard, and the thing is installed and ready to go. After that, it works as soon as you press a key on the keyboard.

The touchpad works well for me. I had to adjust the mouse sensitivity in Windows to make it move a little faster across the screen but that was it. The mouse buttons seem kind of recessed, so they are harder to \"find\", but I\'m getting more used to it. The scroll function works fine too.

The keyboard is just a laptop keyboard converted to wireless use. There are only 84 keys instead of the 102 or so on a typical keyboard. I would have liked the extra keys. Also, I would have liked some basic media buttons to change volume, bring up Explorer, etc. It is a very small keyboard, and some people might not like the small size. But that is the trade off for having it so light and portable.

So far I haven\'t found a better wireless keyboard with integrated mouse function. You pay a lot for it, but I think it\'s worth it.

Strengths:Silky smooth operation in optimal environment.

Weaknesses:Collides with WiFi.

Summary:This unit will deliver silky smooth operation consistently if you follow these tips.

1. Don\'t forget to hit a key twice (recommend SHIFT) to wake it up.

2. If you are dropping keys or have choppy mouse movements:
A. Try swapping with known good batteries.
B. Reposition the USB adapter. I got much better range by using an USB extension cable to relocate the adapter. Just moving the adapter six inches away from the computer case made all the difference. It eliminated keyboard dead zones.
C. Avoid wireless conflicts between the keyboard and wireless router by locking your router to a different wireless channel. Try channel 11. I found lower channels would conflict with the unit. Conflict issue is indicated by choppy mouse movements coinciding with wireless activity. Possibly wireless phones or microwaves could interfere too.
D. Switch wireless router\'s operating modes away from 802.11b. Try 802.11g-only or 802.11n-only if possible. I was able to more channels wireless router channels when I changed modes.

3. If the unit is dead, you may have accidentally pushed the USB adapter\'s tiny \"sw\" button. It\'s used to pair with your keyboard. Re-pair by pushing sw again and pressing keyboard\'s FN key within 15 seconds.

Thanks to the myriad of reviews, product works exactly as expected. Yes, it works well with Vista without drivers. Yes, it makes a great HTPC wireless keyboard. Yes, it has a flimsy feel. Yes, its a bit too expensive and needs competition.

I\'m using a D-Link DIR-655 Wireless N Router. Excellent device. Recommended.

Strengths:Wireless keyboard/touchpad combination is great for HTPC application. Compact size & good range.

Weaknesses:Price a little steep. Func key is positioned on bottom leftmost corner followed by CTRL. Should have been reversed since that seems to be the most popular layout and CTRL key is most often used key.

Summary:This is a great HTPC keyboard since you can take it around without a dangling mouse. Everything works and the touchpad responds well. My only complaint is it\'s priced a little steep. But I guess if you don\'t have competition you can ask for premium.

Strengths:All in one design, compact size, same functionality as a laptop.

Weaknesses:None.

Summary:This is a great all in one keyboard and mouse for an HTPC setup. It is great if you are familiar with laptops. The setup was easy and simple and the keyboard works great. It matches perfectly with my Antec HTPC case. It is light and small and eliminates the need for an external mouse. I am used to laptops and this one functions just like one.

Summary:So far the best wireless keyboard I had for my HTPC. And I owned a number of them, both RF and IR...

The only mod I had to make was to glue a thin, spaghetti like piece of plastic to both left and right mouse key to raise them a bit. Works on Linux too (including the scroll wheel), with the caviat that for GRUB boot loader, legacy USB support had to be enabled in BIOS (which is the issue with every USB keyboard and GRUB) ...

Strengths:Small, good range, no drivers to install.

Weaknesses:Some typing errors, need to reset often for smooth trackpad use, expensive.

Summary:This product isn\'t perfect. I think the scrolling area is too large and sometimes keys don\'t register. However, I wouldn\'t have purchased another wireless keyboard. The keyboard is very compact, has a very comfortable feel, has an excellent range, and beautifully matches my Shuttle XPC. I\'d buy it again.

Strengths:Long range, compact but functional size, touchpad.

Weaknesses:Touchpad left and right mouse buttons have a loud click when pressed.

Summary:This is a great product. I\'m able to operate the keyboard half way across my condo, much farther than I would ever need. The size and layout is similar to a laptop keyboard. The touchpad buttons are loud which is mildly anoying when my wife is reading and I\'m on the computer. But you can single/double click in the touchpad without using the buttons anyways. I\'m glad I bought this instead of another model with an integrated track ball.

Strengths:easy set up

Weaknesses:TOO SMALL keyboard, sticky keys, and frankly NOT worth the money

Summary:did not like it at all. Keyboard is too small, and what I wanted was a full size keyboard that had a touchpad and was wireless. Would NOT buy again because of the above.
This is an overpriced item, that I cannot find a true use for.

Strengths:Lightweight, decent battery life, no drivers needed, all-in-one design, works ok with my mac mini, great range

Weaknesses:loud mouse buttons (though it supports tap clicking), takes a while to wake up from sleep, isn\'t fully compatible with my mac mini (details below) and its a bit pricey for what it is.

Summary:I got this keyboard to control my HTPC powered by my Mac Mini. Overall it works well. It freaked out when I had my bluetooth enabled, but it might have been because I used to use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. While this keyboard does not have volume controls, the windows key can be reconfigured as the apple key. Overall, its not a bad keyboard. I am really glad it is an all-in-one design. That was my main reason for buying this model. I would recommend this keyboard even despite the listed weaknesses.
