Strengths:The power adapter allowed me to use my powerbook while it was plugged in.

Weaknesses:The adapter did not charge my computer\'s battery. Also, it did not appear to be a genuine Apple product (weight and coloring were a little off).

Summary:My powerbook is the aluminum model, and not titanium, so it is possible that with a titanium PowerBook this power adapter may have been able to charge the computer battery. However, with my computer all I could do was keep it plugged in if I wanted to use it. Also, I took the power adapter to the Genius Bar at a local Apple store and the associates there believed that it was not a genuine Apple product.

Strengths:Strain relief at adapter body is improved from original model.

Weaknesses:Plug fits VERY TIGHTLY in laptop. Plug lights yellow when charging but does NOT light green when charging is complete.

Summary:Instead of the jack plug turning from yellow to green when charging is complete, the light just extinguishes. So I don\'t know if it\'s done charging or the adapter doesn\'t have AC power.

Also the plug fits so tightly in the jack that i think it\'s going to damage the jack or the board the jack is soldered to in the laptop.

Summary:It is very easy to use and the light lets me know when my computer is charged. Light wight and travels easily. Well designed as are all the Apple products I own.

Summary:it works ok on both 15\'\' and 12\'\' powerbooks, as well as ibooks. the orange-green light is a good design, and really helpful. although not perfect, it is still much better than those 3rd party adapters.

Summary:This is the fourth adapter I have had to purchase in the past three years. My laptop stays in one place, is used approximately five hours a week and is kept cool. I hate these adapters. They are the most poorly designed accessory I have ever experienced. Apple has deaf ears when it comes to redesigning this power adapter and that disappoints me greatly, because I am an Apple devotee. When this laptop dies, I will not be getting another one and the only reason I won\'t is this horrific adapter!

Summary:Green - Orange indicator built in. So you know charging status. However, when your friend trip over your wire, the plug connect to laptop will break, not durable plastic cap (where green/orange indicator is inside).

Summary:This is a handy product that delivers a quick and efficient charge. The fact that it can adjust in length from short to long simply by changing out the AC module is a great idea. I have had no problems with durability aside from my dog destroying my previous one. I think this is a good product, perhaps a little overpriced, but a good product nonetheless. Make sure, when you purchase from these vendors, that the adaptor comes with an AC Cord AND the AC wall adaptor (the small square plug). Some only sell it with the cord, and they can be tricky about leaving that out.

Strengths:Ultra-compact, and designed to work work with Apple\'s current laptops.

Weaknesses:Poorly engineered and way overpriced. Way overpriced.

Summary:From an aesthetic and convenience perspective this adapter is unbeatable. It travels well because it\'s not bulking and has a unique plug module that allows you to plug the adapter directly in the wall rather than a separate power cord.

From a engineering and durability perspective though this charger is a complete disaster if you don\'t treat it as gentle as a baby. The cord that goes from the charger to your laptop is very flimsy. It doesn\'t take but a tug to loosen it and throw $80 down the tube.

In my case convenience wins out. I hate packing big power bricks. But if you don\'t, then get a generic adapter by all means. This Apple brand adapter is obviously overpriced. Lucky they have suckers like me to buy it.

I give this charger two stars, but I\'d say \"It works, and would purchase again, but grudgingly so.\"

Strengths:Perfect power outtage. Recommended over the 45W version.

Weaknesses:None that I can find so far.

Summary:As usual Apple has done it right again. This power adapter is just perfect. It\'s cute and it fints the apple \"white\" range. Small and Handy, Durable and easy to use. Storage is also easy due to its cord design.
