Strengths:Small form factor. (not much bigger than the built-in antenna on F5D7000) Increased signal strength from very low to very good. Does what it says.

Summary:I have a Belkin F5D7230-4 router on one side of the house and a F5D7000 desktop adapter connected to another PC sitting on the floor on the other side of the house. The signal was going through walls and just couldn\'t get it to maintain a stable connection. Signal would be either very low or completely drop out. Upon further research into antennas I found this antenna. I was debating wether I should get it and was skeptical at first. I searched the net and read limited reviews from here as well as Amazon but was not convinced. But then there were limited alternatives to my signal problems.
Well finally decided to take the plunge and got the antenna. Installing is simple where you just unscrew the old antenna and screw this one in. Antenna comes with a 5ft cable and I think thats sufficient. I think I read somewhere that making it longer could introduce signal loss. After first installing the antenna, I was a disappointed since the signal strength did not immediately increase. However, after moving the antenna from the desktop to top of the computer hutch there was a HUGE improvement. The signal went to good and 3 of the 5 bars were filled on the signal status. This is a huge difference as signal was almost non-existent to very low seconds before. I then adjusted the router position and was able get a very good siginal. If you do get this, make sure you experiment with antenna positions to get the best signal quality. All in all this antenna does what it advertises and I would recommend it to those having signal problems.
