Strengths:Fast, not a power hog, afordable toner!

Weaknesses:Only B&W and feed through scanner (not flatbed)

Summary:This is a great all-in-one. It will print 20pg/min and starts very quick. It uses 6 amps (8 amps surge) which isn\'t bad for a laser. I keep mine on 2min powersave because the UPS\'s will beep intermittently when its keeping warm (in full power). another great advantage...the GENUINE toners are usually less than $40!
The only drawbacks are the feedthrough scanner and its B&W only - but I have an inexpensive inkjet for color!

Strengths:Compact form factor, Cheap and more than decent quality

Weaknesses:Lack of network ability,no memory slot and is a flatbed.

Summary:This is a very decent printer for the cost. Cost to Benefit is very high. Has a toner save mode. Replacement toner is decently priced. Main drawback is that you cannot scan books as it is a flat bed. You also cannot print photos from Memory card directly. No network ability and functions as a stand alone printer.

In spite of all this, I would recommend it for the value. Also has the ability to send fax`s to PC. Definitely recommended for a SOHO applications.

Summary:The Brother MFC7220 is an affordable all-in-one printer/fax machine. The unit is compact and easy to setup. Noise is a little higher than MFC7420 when warm up. Printing and scan quality are great for home use. Printing speed is moderate. Toner cartridge is less expensive compare to HP’s.

Summary:Finally, enough of the ink cartridges. The MFC 7220 is exactly what I have been looking for. It prints excellent laser quality copies. I could use this at work and not miss a beat. The included Paperport software allows editing of scanned documents. I have used the fax on a limited basis. Very pleased with the MFC-7220 and definately recommend it.

Strengths:The quality is great and it prints very fast. The fax can store up to 400 pages in its memory if you are out of paper.

Weaknesses:Scanning capabilities is not a flat bed, so it won\'t be able to take noncomforming shapes.

Summary:Although the documentation wasn\'t the best (which seems to be common among Japanese multifunctions), it was relatively easy to set up and figure out how to do everything. Everything works great for me so far.

Summary:bought it when there is a huge discount and rebate. Very compact laser All-in-One printer. Have used it for several days already. Compared with my another Canon L170 AIO printer, its printing speed is fast, acceptable. Noise is moderate. it\'s a little bit lighter than Canon L170. Printing quality is fairly good. Although there is no color scanning, it still a good choice for small office.

Strengths:Nice little foot print, Fast Laser Printing, Many scanning options for my copies. Ease of use user interface.

Weaknesses:Copy on color document tends to go darker than it should, Unable to scan any items that are small in size, like receipts, businesses cards, etc.

Summary:Overall, I like this ALL-IN-ONE machine alot!! It replaced my old fax, laser printer (space saving), and did a pretty decent job on occasional xerox copies. I really like the function \"PC Fax\", I could simply fax my Words document directly from my PC to this little guy. I must say 600dpi is pretty nice compare to my old HP Laser Jet only output 300dpi.

Summary:I bought it for my son.This is very compact All in One Laser,printer,scaner,coppier,fax and PC fax.Great Qualyty and very low price.Toner is good about 1500 pages.Toners prise is low too.

Summary:This machine was in use at several workstations at my office. Great fast faxing and printing. I had to have one for home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a compact footprint all in one with laser faxing and printing. Get it with a rebate if possible. Uses TN-350 toner.

Summary:This is a good budget unit and is great for home use. The fax to computer option is a nice feature as pointed out by another reviewer. It saves toner and paper by not automatically printing out junk faxes. I feel like this was a good purchase.

Summary:I\'m a \"use a printer till the ink runs out then junk it\" kind of guy. I\'ve been buying $20 and under inkjets for many years because a printer on sale is cheaper than buying refill cartridges. Anyhow, this Brother laser unit was only $20 after rebate at a recent big-box store\'s sale, so naturally I nabbed one. The starter cartridge it comes with claims to be good for about 1500 pages. We\'ll see. If it works out, I might just mend my ways and start buying laser cartridges for it.

Summary:I bought it for my wife as fax machine, printer, scanner and coppier. It does all of it without any problems. Also, it has ability to receive faxes straight to the computer.. which is very great feature. For the price it is a great printer.

Weaknesses:Not a flat bed. No network capablity and no color scanning. Although not a huge deal for me..

Summary:Very compact AIP compared to others available on the market. It gives you a large bang for your money.
It gives you a professional quality laser printing. I was surprise to see how compact the m/c was ! I use fax a lot so consider this for having faxing capablities as well.

Summary:Very small all-in-one compare to other machines available on the market. But it does not limit the capabilities that it can deliver. With laser printing, color scanning and faxing, it is my most used machine in the office. The lack of a small color screen and memory card slot preclude me from printing documents directly from my SD card. Nevertheless, well worth the price I paid.
