Strengths:Greatly improves reality coefficient of flight sim experience (espcecially when combined with yoke). Seems built to last--rugged construction. Virtually \"plug-and-play\"--set-up was easy.

Weaknesses:Tends to slide along carpeted floor, even with included chocks (can be remedied through other means). No force feedback. Not inexpensive.

Summary:Making it \"as real as it gets\" requires at the very least a good set of rudder pedals/toe brakes, and the CH unit seems very well-constructed (as does their yoke). Although I\'ve only had them for about a week (and have tended to use and certainly enjoyed FS9 more since acquiring them), I expect them to last for years. \"Real world\" pedal feel varies quite a bit with the aircraft and various loads, so it would be nice if there were some force feedback for both the rudder and brake functions, but the springs do provide some resistance. In any case, having to coordinate turns, perform slips/skids and other maneuvers plus ground-steering/braking with your feet are all necessary components of real world aviation, so if you want to replicate that, even a twist-grip stick doesn\'t quite cut it (to say nothing of using the keyboard!). It\'s not an inconsequential investment, but short of popping for a several-hundred- (or thousand) -dollar/Euro PC-based simulator, the CH Pro Pedals are a great start toward earning your virtual (or real world) wings!

Strengths:Very realistic rudder pedals. Similar reaction to the real thing. Great for practicing flying and a lot cheaper than flight time

Summary:These pedals greatly enhance the ability to practice flying with a flight simulator. They are worthwhile for anyone working to obtain their pilots license and they can also be used for playing games for fun. I recommend them.

Summary:I would recommend the CH rudder pedals to anyone who takes flying in simulators seriously. It will give you the closet response to actual flying available with a simulation product.

Strengths:Prompt tech support, seems solidly built

Weaknesses:Difficult to make it work with non-CH joysticks

Summary:As confirmed by CH tech support, they have decided to make their products incompatible with other manufacturer\'s products. Trying to get me to spend an extra $100+ to replace my existing excellent Logitech joystick just to get their pedals to work is not a good way to get extra business. Instead, I\'m sending these back. Hopefully, they will learn (as many others in the industry have) that trying to lock customers in to buying only your products doesn\'t get you more customers in the long run. Most people will choose a non-proprietary solution when they can.

It took a couple of hours of working with franknstik and CH\'s Control Manager together (you need both), but I was finally able to get the pedals to show up as an extra axis on a virtual game port. Takes a bunch of trial and error to figure out the mapping between hardware, Control Manager, frankstik, and then the game. And then it takes a little more work to get the calibration right.

Strengths:Responds well to all movements and adds another dimension to playing flight sim games

Summary:got this as a gift for my younger brother. He\'s very into flight sim games and plays them constantly. Bought him the CH Products Flight Sim Yoke last year and he\'s been begging for the pedals ever since. Both products are great and he loves them! He said the pedals responded quickly to all movements and combined with the USB, this truly adds another dimension to playing flight sim games.

Strengths:Easy to setup. No special settings for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004.

Weaknesses:Does not have force feedback.

Summary:Very high quality for the price. I am going after a private pilots licence. Practicing with this will reduce the expensive airtime and easily pay for itself many times over. I saw this sold from websites that sell FAA approved flight simulators. Figured it had to be pretty good. I was not disappointed

Strengths:Just like the real thing.

Weaknesses:The turn coordinator on the instrument panel does not react to the rudder pedals.

Summary:I just finished my solo - in real life - in August of this year. I find that when I want to \"fly\" at home, the CH Rudder Pedals go together with my CH Yoke to make a great flying experience.

Strengths:Install quickly in Windows Vista Home Premium

Weaknesses:Slide across the floor - (minor issue)

Summary:Bought these to compliment the Saitek X52 Flight Control System and they work great!

Wish they were a little more sensitive but this is a personal preference.

They have adequate weight but I had to fasten them to a piece of plywood to keep them from moving around on me. This probably won\'t be a problem for most people but if it is, propping them against the bottom of the desk or against the wall solves this problem.

I tried two other competing brands of rudders and CH Products felt the best to me.

Strengths:These pedals are well made and react very well. Very smooth.

Weaknesses:Can\'t think of any so far. I think the pedals are worth every cent I paid for them.

Summary:CH products are great! I combined the pedals with a CH Combatstick and now have precise control when I play flight sim games. The pedals are very sturdy and do not feel like toys. So far, I expect to get many years of use out of them. They are worth the money!
