Strengths:Lifetime Warranty!
Weaknesses:It\'s hard to take the memory module out of the plastic case its sealed in, I almost throught I broke it while taking the memory out.
Summary:Everyone says Corsair makes good memory so I wanted to see for myself, so I purchased the VS1GSDS400 1GB DDR SoDIMM, actually two of them and put them into a laptop. The instructions the memory comes with is good for people that are beginners installing notebook memory. The Corsair memory installed without any problems and I was pleased. I\'d consider Corsair memory anytime I\'m looking to purchased RAM from now on. I give them a thumbs-up!

Strengths:Fast RAM, PC3200 makes a difference
Weaknesses:Crashed once when I played Counterstrike
Summary:This RAM is overall very good and made my laptop work a lot faster. I do a lot of DVD ripping and play games on my small Dell 700m laptop and this memory performed well. My laptop crashed once but I think it was due to my laptop overheating.

Strengths:Chips are good as long as they work.
Weaknesses:Memory chip went back after 2 months of use and Corsair refused to honor the lifetime warranty.
Summary:I purchased 2 of these chips in February. In late March one of them went bad, which is not a huge issue. The chips come with a lifetime warranty.

The huge issue is that when I RMA\'d the bad chip to Corsair (RMA #1099812) they refused to honor the warranty. I contacted customer support 8 times, each time I was told that a supervisor that could approve the RMA was not available and that they would call me back. I never received a return phone call and finally gave up.

I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for memory. When it comes down to it you can find the same product elsewhere and if it goes bad you won\'t have to worry about being stiffed on the warranty.
