I have ethernet and want to share printers, but many popular printers do not come with 10/100baseT support. Tried to hook up an HP882c, which is a very standard printer. The print device is recognized on the network, but it prints garble. Worked with all settings, formats, and reinstalling drivers, no dice. The support is only offered by phone, you pay long distance, during weekly business hours.
