Strengths:Smooth video over the internet, decent sound pickup even over 25 feet away (have to turn the sound up all the way)

Weaknesses:Recording ability. Haven\'t figured this out yet.

Summary:This camera is the best one I\'ve ever owned and I\'ve had quite a few. In fact, I just bought two more for my office.

The video is really incredible. I have 4 DCS-900W\'s and the video with these is over the internet is choppy (no sound) and we have a gigabit network (camera max transfer is 100 Mbps) and decent DSL at the source and very high speed cable at home. So it\'s not the connection. The video with the 5300 is almost in real time. It\'s pretty weird when you are in another country and you can view the status of your office while things are happening--almost as if you are really there.

I showed the video to one of my friends who lives in another state and he bought the camera the same day.

I highly recommend this camera.

Strengths:Small, nice quality, easy to setup.

Weaknesses:no optical zoom, price

Summary:Nice camera, very good quality and super flexible in the settings. Port can be changed so this camera can be easily rerouted in the firewall / router for internet viewing.

Strengths:Small, powerful, audio, easy, easy to setup, good software, wireless or direct connect.

Weaknesses:Wish it was less expensive.

Summary:Nice camera, so easy to setup, no vices. The picture quality is good, does not work too well when facing a window. The tilt and rotate capabiility works smoothly and the rotation of the axis range is very good.
