It is similar in physical design to other comtemporary D-Link devices. Once setup and configured it just works as it should. I recommend that you take the time to read the user manual before setting it up. If desired, the manual is available for download via D-Link\'s support web site. Getting it setup with my AT&T/Bellsouth DSL was a bit challenging, but that was AT&T\'s fault because they didn\'t know what they were doing and I had to talk them through the steps of resetting my VCI numbers. I don\'t think this will be a problem for first-time DSL customers, but since I was replacing a modem, they had to reissue my VCI number after I convinced them that was the problem (this was after a few hours trying to do it D-Link\'s way). Once they reissued the number, I was on immediately, so watch out for that caveat. Also, despite the advertisements that this product can handle MAC Address-based access control, it cannot. Which leads me to the support aspect of this product. <br /><br />Support: I found the support generally unhelpful. My first review was a bit too strongly worded. Just know that if you are going to need a lot of telephone help, this is not the product for you. However, it would be unfair to the hardware, which is generally worthwhile. Otherwise, If MAC Address filtering is important to you, you should keep looking.
