Strengths:Works as an Access Point, WiFi Rtr (NAT), or as a WiFi client. Mode selectable using physical switch. Compact and durable. Includes AC and USB power cords. Carrying case for device and all cables.

Weaknesses:Seems like it might have slightly less range than a router with an external antenna, but it\'s never been an issue.

Summary:I bought on of these for business use years ago and I\'m going to buy one for home, now.

I\'ve found the Access Point useful on many occasions when I need to share a single wired connection with one or more WiFi clients (or don\'t want to have to sit near the wired connection at the hotel room desk with my laptop). On other occasions, I\'ve used the WiFi router when I wanted multiple addresses (for phone and laptop) when the wired connection only allowed one. I\'ve used the client mode for VoIP phones (crummy network, but it worked) and other devices that were happier with a wired connection.

It locked up on my once in client mode, when I had it buried under some other papers and stuff on my desk. It seems like it got hot after several days of constant use. But, that was only once and it hasn\'t given me any other issues.

Seems like the best price point for a WiFi to Wired client functionality, as well.

Summary:This product is the top of its class for a reason. The accesories (USB power cable, flat ethernet cable) are well thought-out, not just generic stuff thrown in. Everything is included in a nice case so this product looks professional when you pull it out to use. The \"getting started\" guide is easy to understand, and the CD with software and setup information is also simple, for those that aren\'t computer techs by occupation, but still want something that has lots of features.

Summary:Get this D-Link wireless pocket router instead of a standard wireless usb card since this unit offers more features with three different use modes, as a router, an access point or a bridge. In bridge mode, you can add wireless connection to a web server camera (D-link DCS-900), a VOIP module (Linksys PAP2), a printer server, a network A/V receiver/player (Kenwood VRS-N8100) and any device with an ethernet port incuding a PC. Yes, you could do all of these wonders with the pocket size D-Link wireless pocket router with the additional option to power it through a usb port instead of the AC/DC adapter.

Summary:It is the best small size pocket router/access point/bridge on the market. You could connect any device with ethernet port wirelessly usind this D-Link pocket router set as a bridge. It could be powered from either a usb port or an AC outlet. I used it to turn a printer server,a web server camera and a Linksys PAP2 VOIP phone adapter into wireless devices. Highly recommended!

Summary:OK, I took this little router with me for a few weeks-long trip abroad. It served me better than I expected. I have only used it in the router mode, but you can also use it as an access point or client modes. The wired ADSL connection was on the 2nd floor and the WiFi coverage on that floor was excellent to very good. Quite frankly, I didn\'t expect to get any signal in the 1st floor, but, alas, there was signal there (ranging from poor to very good!) I like the fact that the small AC adapter it comes with is universal (110/220 volts), which is excellent for international travelers. Also, it can be powered off a USB port (comes with the USB power cable.) And to top it all, it comes with a good looking travel case (6 x 4.5 x 2 inches approx.) where you can carry the router itself (which is VERY small, you\'ll be surprised!), the AC adapter and the USB and ethernet cables. Keep in mind that you have to first establish a wireless connection from your PC to the router in order to configure it while working in, you guessed it, router mode. All in all, I am very happy with this product.

Summary:D-Link wireless-g pocket router is a much better choice compares to the similar one provided by Netgear. It\'s easy to set up and the signal is strong with little interference. I think this is really a good buy with proper price.

Summary:Overall, this is a decent product and a good overall package. The manual really needs to be improved, as does vendor support. The technical support reps who I worked with at D-Link were not the friendliest, and not very helpful. I had to make the product work myself, and I really enjoyed it once I got it working

Summary:This pocket router is very small. And it comes with a small adapter and a padded pouch. It can also be USB-powered. It can work as a wireless router, and can also as a usb adapter to connect to a wireless network. Very convenient.

Summary:I purchased this product for me to use while I stay in hotels. Overall it is a great travel router. It can also be used as a wireless access point or in client mode. The option to power the router from a USB port is great and saves time looking for a wll socket. Overall great router for the price I paid of $20.00

Summary:I used this for a recent trip. The hotel I stayed only has wired internet. I was able to hook this router up and surfed the internet anywhere in the room. I didn\'t test the diameter for the signal, but no problem for the whole room. I will recommend this to anyone who has the similar needs.

Summary:This is a great little travel access point. I used it with my laptop no problems. Set up was relatively easy and pain free. I like the fact that you can switch the mode from AP to Router to Client. The travel case makes it a little larger for travel than it really is, but it keeps all the pieces together and handy. Overall it is a good product for the price.

Summary:Very easy to setup and use. comactness makes it easy to carry around. Brought it to use at work to get wireless and it has worked well. It function as router, access point and client. Which are very handy.

Carrying case came with the product which is quite useful and well thought. Better documentation could have been very useful.

Summary:This product will work as a wireless router (connect directly to broadband modem), an wireless AP (connect to a router) or as a client (connect to a PC to serve as a wireless network adapter). This versatility makes it worth every penny. It even worked right out of the box in the router mode. However, it was tricky getting it to function as a client, and the documentation was too poor to be of help. After the bottom line is that it works as advertised, if you have the time to figure it out.
