Summary:I got this router for 20 bucks after rebate just needed a cheap but a good router for my mom, so I could setup her wireless network. This router does its job, signal isn\'t the strongest but doesn\'t have lots of interference either. So for a rangebooster the range isn\'t boosted that much if used with other brand adaptors, but if used with WUA-2340 RangeBooster G Wireless adaptor it works better.

Summary:The WBR-2310 has been performing reliably for me for the last week or so. The installation took me about an hour and a half. The initial installation resulted in my not being able to access the Internet. After calling tech support, I could hardly understand the rep and the only thing that he told me that I didn\'t already know was to reset the router. While I was resetting the router, the rep actually hung up on me!

After resetting the router and going through the installation again, I finally got the router working.

Additionally, I am using a Slingbox with my router. It took me about 2.5 hours to figure out how to get my Slingbox working with the router (including enabling Port Forwarding correctly), but now it seems to be working fine and hopefully this router doesn\'t continue resetting after Slingbox use like my Linksys.

Summary:Overall this seems like a good router for the sale price. The range is good, 108mbps is great. Setup was simple. I did mine manually and it didn\'t take long. I\'m getting some resets so I may need to review my initial setup to make sure there isn\'t a problem.

Summary:I have paired this router with my D-Link DGS-2208 8-Port Gigabit switch, the set up works very well. The router performs very well so far, the signal is good. My Atheros based wireless card connects 108M full speed. The web interface is better than my older DI series wired router, more intuitive, the help tips on the right side is very clear. The DHCP reservation function is very pratical, and other routers are lacking this function. D-link also offer a free dynamic DNS account which to tie up with the dynamic IP address the ISPs usually give. And I also found the knowledge base on d-link\'s website is good.
Overall, this is a very nice router, I would recommend this over other brands.

Summary:For the price this is an excellent wireless router, and more than sufficient for my needs of a wireless network in a small home.

The drawbacks I see are:

* I have a difficult time receiving 100% signal strength. Signal strength varies a lot, but never really reaches much above 75%. Without enabling range extender, the numbers are even lower. I was able to receive 100% nearly all of the time with my old Linksys.

* There is a bug in the firmware (v1.04) where you cannot enable hidden SSID (i.e. not broadcast your SSID) and still have range extender enabled.

* There is a single device access list for both wireless and wired connections. I\'ve owned older D-link devices that are the same way. I like to limit the wireless devices that can connect, but not limit wired access, but I cannot see a way to do this with this router.

* The system time resets back to April 2002 every time the router resets.

* The web interface does not work well with Camino, but updating the firmware to 1.04 makes it work better than the 1.02 I received.

Summary:If you are using Vista, you don\'t have to use the setup CD, just plug in, you are good to go!
Installation is easy, and the price is good cause i brought on sale.

Strengths:-great range, and no freezing and reseting like the Di-624-looks great and was alright to setup not 2 hard

Weaknesses:setup didnt work for me soo had to do manually

Summary:- Soo easy to setup if doing manually. No problems with is it so far great range
-this is replacing my old DI-624 which keeped on freezing when a computer or gaming system needed an ip, hated it because you have to unplug everytihng and unplug it and restart everytihng but the range is good full bar everywere in my house so far

Strengths:Good build quality. So far it works without a glitch.

Weaknesses:Setup disk did not work on my system. Signal strength is a bit low.

Summary:I bought this router and the USB adapter after returning DIR-655 which was not compatible with my Palm Tx (b device) in a mixed n, b, g mode. This router works very well with both b and g devices although signal strength is lower than my previous Netgear router or the DIR-655. This may be due to the USB adapter as well.

Installation was fairly easy with the exception that the setup disk did not recognize it as a D-Link router. I had the same problem with the DIR-655 so I did not have to call customer support to manually configure the router. Router is upstairs and a desktop with a g adapter is downstairs. I was able to get 36-54 Mbps using the g adapter but was able to boost it to 108 Mbps with the USB adapter. Works well with the Palm with the only issue being that signal strength is low in some places in the house. So far I am happy with the overall performance of the router.

Summary:I bought this to replace a D-Link DI-524 that went south on me after a couple years of solid service. This router was easy to set up with the enclosed software and is working fine. It has better range than my prior router and is a good value for the price.
D-Link has great tech support if you do have a problem.

Summary:I bought this router to replace a dying Linksys WRT54GS. One of reasons to pick the D-Links over the Linksys routers is the fact that they allow static DHCP reservations.
So far range seems fine.
