Under windows XP with regular programs and WIFI, it lasts about 5 hours 30 minutes or more. I have been using my laptop with the battery for a few weeks and so far so good. One disadvantage of the product is the size. After the battery installation, my X61s is a little bigger than before (and heavier). The charge doesn\'t always last as long as it should.</div><div class="summary"> <b>Summary:</b>I know that buying a battery from lenovo would cost around 170 dollars, but at least that one would work as expected. <br />  <br /> Unless you really think you can live with this battery occasionally losing its charge, get an actual lenovo battery. <br />  <br /> This might just be a problem with this battery or maybe all non-lenovo batteries are just poorly made, I\'m not sure.
