Strengths:Inexpensive, reliable, small size

Weaknesses:capped design, plastic gets dirty and scratched easily

Summary:The Kingston 4gb traveler performs up to my expectations. Transfer rates are good, and it has a good capacity for the money paid for. A capless design would much improve this drive, and on the down side the plastic gets dirty and scratched too easily.

Weaknesses:Removable cap can be misplaced

Summary:Once again, Kingston does not disappoint me as my favorite memory product supplier. This 4GB unit looks just like previous lower capacity models I own, and works just as well. The removable cap is just about its only \'weakness\'. It can get misplaced, and it did. However even that turns out to be a good test of Kingston\'s customer service. I simply made a request to locate where I can get a replacement cap, and they sent me a couple by mail!

Weaknesses:Data transfer rate (not bad though)

Summary:I\'ve been using 1GB USB flash drives (bought about 2-3 years ago) until I purchased this one. I think purchasing this is worth the price compared to other brands. One difference I found is that the other flash drives I\'ve remain glowed as long as they are connected to the system. But this one glows only when data transfer is happening. I thought the speed of data transfer would be better from my previous flash drives, but didn\'t find much difference. Overall, this is a good buy.

Strengths:Good quality and good price. Cap fits on back.

Summary:This drive is very useful because of it\'s excellent storage capacity. I used to use four 1GB drives so this has been extremely helpful. Also, its cap fits easily onto the other end of the USB so you\'ll never lose it. This is an excellent product.

Strengths:Good form/fit, works right out of the package

Weaknesses:Comes formatted for FAT32, I would prefer NTFS

Summary:The drive is easily reformatted in a few seconds. Its speed is adequate for my purposes (transporting files of various sizes between computers). The drive comes with a loop built into the case to accommodate a lanyard, but does not include a lanyard itself, a VERY minor quibble. The drive is a great value, and entirely suitable for routine file storage and transport purposes. I would not hesitate to recommend it to other buyers.

Summary:It\'s nice to have 4GB DataTraveler USB Flash Drive. It has a fast transfer rate for reliable copy /download/backup. The portability is great. It fits nicely on my keychain.

Strengths:Good value for $\'s/GB and compact

Weaknesses:Kind of on the slow side in terms of reads and writes.

Summary:I owned a 512 MB before this, and am happy with it. Working a couple tech jobs at the same time, you can never have enough space such that more space is worth sacrificing slight slowing in speed. It\'s not that slow, so large transfer may take an extra minute or two, I\'d wait knowing I can put virtually anything on it. For occasional files transfer you can\'t beat it for the price.

The size of the drive has a very convenient feel and look to it. One good thing to know is you can put the cap on the back like a pen. If you are really that worried to lose it when you\'ll be using it a lot, put it on the back, I\'d say it is just as strong sticking on the back as the usb. And it has strong hold on, my 512 MB still stays on well.
