So I thought - why not just get a LinkSys PCI WiFi card? This card was reasonably priced, so I bought it. It was clear after installing and trying to set it up that it wouldn\'t work - and never would. I got blue-screen fatal errors after installing the driver and rebooting. I pulled it out, uninstalled the driver and tried a different PCI slot. Same behavior. I ordered this network adapter because the  Linksys Wireless-G WUSB54GX4 USB Network Adapter with SRX 400 would not work with Vista. There was also no driver update for it. Both had the same problem. Linksys had a bug/glitch in their batch of software for the cds that were included this model. You can download the software for the same version or use a previous version. But overall, as long as you know how to use the Windows configuration. All you really need is the drivers for the hardware. About $35-$40 bucks a card. Also, it appears that the automatic configuration seems to upset non-Linksys adapters on the network a bit thereby requiring a manual reset.</div><div class="summary"> <b>Summary:</b>I have always found Linksys to make best-of-breed products. This latest version of their wireless router is no exception. There is not really that much one can say about a router. Either it supports all the latest security protocols and is reliable or it doesn\'t.
