Summary:I use it for syncing my Treo 700w and it works fine after figuring out how to connect each time. I use it on a Toshiba Satellite notebook which came with the required bluetooth stack.

Summary:I recently bought one of these devices to work with a bluetooth headset. I\'m a computer engineer with an MCSE+I and CCNA with 20 years of experience. It took me several hours and many retries to install the product. Hardware appears sound but the software (which is supplied by BroadComm) is terrible. Reminiscent of Windows 3.1 installs.
After the battle the with installation I noticed that the speaker (Earpiece) volume was controllable but the microphone volume remained unchanged when attempts were made to adjust it using Windows volume control. I spent a day troubleshooting it then called Linksys. I was treated rudely, hung up on, and told that bluetooth headsets were not support, when it clearly states on the box and instructions that they are supported.
I then wrote emails to Linksys tech support, and Investor relations and received several calls from managers the next day.
A technician was assigned that I was told would support me, after several phone calls and a couple of weeks he told me it worked on his computer and that was the end of it.
The experience was bad enough that I will never buy another Linksys/Cisco/Sipura device again.

The bluetooth in XP SP2 is a nightmare. Read the above, rename the native XP SP2 bluetooth driver and then install the linksys driver. Do it any other way and you\'re asking for trouble.

After following the above instructions, I was able to sync my Treo 650 from anywhere in my apartment. It\'s slower than using the USB cable, but much more elegant. Sending contacts to the Treo from Outlook over Bluetooth was pretty sweet too.

Summary:Connected to my desktop on a rear USB port, so even though the antenna doesn\'t seem the most durable, it\'s really not an issue for me. I use it to connect with my Motorola cell phone - works flawlessly, even when the phone is in the next room about 30 feet away.

Summary:I am using this with Motorola Mobile phone tools Version 3 and set up was a breeze. I talked to some friends and they had no luck connecting their computer to anything via bluetooth, I guess I was the lucky one. Unbelievable what you can do with it. I would recomend this moderately priced unit over many other cheaper ones that may not be worth the hassle of trying to configure.

Strengths:This was easy to install and use. I use it with a motorola cell phone and it is great for transferring pictures.

Weaknesses:the only weakness was more my computer. Windows 98SE wasn\'t the most cooperative.

Summary:Tech support for this product was AWESOME! They returned my call more than once since I was not home the first time that they called. I would purchase again from this company just because of the tech support!

Strengths:Easy to set up, instructions easy to understand, great range - at least good enough to sync my Tungsten from downstairs to my desktop upstairs.

Weaknesses:Antenna gets in the way during transport. I\'m afraid that I\'ll break it one of these times.

Summary:Overall I\'d recommend this over my Zonet one. The setup was much easier and even though the Zonet was much cheaper, the ease of setup with my Tungsten and to get running to hit the net once I got all the right third-party software.

Summary:Great little devise. Boothtooth seems to becomming more popular and available on all sorts so gagets to hook to your computer. This one in particular works very well, and I\'m happy with this purchase.

Strengths:Ease of Use. Great Range. USB extension cord included. Cover included. Unlike Linksys routers, it looks good-- and blue for bluetooth, he he. Feels Durable.

Weaknesses:Chunky. Cheaper ones are smaller but have much less range. And you wouldn\'t have to worry about breaking an antenna.

Summary:I use it with my Nokia 3650. The bluetooth install was the easy part. Sent pics from my phone to my computer in right after installation.
Nokia\'s PC Suite was what took a lot of time to get working...and I downloaded that to make communication with my phone more \"convenient\"-- it finally is, though. Now if my phone\'s bluetooth is enabled, I just plug in my Linksys and find which files on my phone to download.
Time to upgrade to a bluetooth PDA!

Summary:If you\'re shopping for bluetooth adapters, this is the one! I didn\'t want to set up broadband Internet access at a short-term place I stayed in, so I bought this adapter to connect to the Internet through my Sony T610. Works like a charm! I\'ve been able to keep connections open for a long time with no interruptions.

Painless set up for Windows XP. I could imagine a non-tech savvy user installing this adapter with little hassle. From a usability perspective, I give the install an A- (I almost always give B\'s and C\'s).

The only weak point to this adapter is that it has an antenna-- don\'t love having an extra plastic piece to worry about when travelling. But that\'s only minor; this is a great device! I bought the Belkin adapter before this one but promptly returned it because I had to restart all the time to get it to start working again.

Strengths:The reception is so strong. Easy to setup.

Summary:I\'ve been using this bluetooth dongle for about a week to connect with my motorola V600. It\'s very easy to use and install/setup. However, I do not like the design of the USB cap. When in use, you need to remove the cap and there\'s slightly chance that you might lost it.

Strengths:Very Good Signal for bluetooth. I can get it easily in other rooms in my house and close to the 100m that it claims but not quite. Maybe I just have thin walls!

Weaknesses:It was a little tricky to get it set up with internet sharing because they don\'t explicitly tell you how and if you already are on a shared DSL/Cable network it adds more problems.

Summary:Overall I really enjoy having the USB bluetooth. I can now surf the internet on my Zire 72 palm. As well as HotSync and even remote control Winamp on my computer from my palm. Bluetooth is awesome!!
