It has the same quality (as far as I can see from my HD TV) as the SONY DVD-RWs and only cost less than half and also it was from Memorex which has good quality reputation. Until now I have been using SONY branded mini DVD media both -R, -RW and +RW and have been satisfied with the performance.  However, SONY discs are quite expensive.  I recently saw these advertised at a price that is only fraction of SONY\'s so I decided to take a chance and bought one pack. Compared to SONY mini DVD+RWs Memorex is is almost 75% cheaper.  This is the first time I have purchased Memorex branded mini DVDs and for now have no complaints. Could hold 30 minutes of recording with normal play when used from a DVD Camcorder. Less expensive when comparing other Mini DVD+RW disks. I would compile like about 4 mini dvds into one regular size DVD and make copies for all my friends using nero. <br /> I realized that actually it would be so much cheaper to buy the rewritable and reused them.  After recording my favorite nephew and niece, I would copy the videos to my hard drive on my computer.  I would combine 4 minis to make a big DVD as a hard copy. Then I would edit the videos on my hardrive to make a family movie. It was easy to reformat the media and record again. I heard that media can be rewritten 1000 times before it breaks down. Other\'s have said the quality will go down after each format on any type of rewritable. I\'ve formated about 5 times so far and have not made a coaster yet. I have not witnessed any poor quality yet either.
