Summary:This router worked fine for about a month. Then suddenly it resets itself every a few minutes. I have to disconnect the power line to reset it for a few minutes internet connection.
BTW, I still didn\'t receive any rebate. Planing to return it.

Weaknesses:Your might work-if you are lucky. Poor implementation of port forwarding. Poor explanation of setup functions.

Summary:This router comes with 3 versions (see their website). Mine is H/W: C1.0R and is buggy. I updated firmaware and it didn\'t help.
Here is what makes it useless:
- sometimes works sometimes not.
- randomly locks and unlocks DHCP function ( that\'s what assigns IP address to devices.)
- firewall randomly locks access to internet.
- you cannot set up port forwarding for a range of ports, just one at a time (a friend has to open ports 10000 to 30000 for his VOIP phone ATA - guess what he did with his router).
-this friend let me check his router with my home network, I HAD EXACTLY SAME PROBLEMS!

In summary, if you buy later versions of this router, you may be lucky; but you take your chances.

Summary:The company promise rebate. I send the all documents they required for rebate. It include orignal UPC. However, the company say they don\'t receive the onignal UPC, so that they can not give me the rebate. If the company don\'t want give poeple money back, just don\'t offer people rebate. I won\'t buy any product from this big liar company again.

Summary:I have three pc\'s connected to it. Very easy to set-up and network all of them together. Much better than my linksys router. I\'ve been using linksys fot the past 10 years but after buying the trendnet I have to say that dollar for dollar, trendnet is much better.

Weaknesses:disconnects with medium / heavy downloads w/ WPA

Summary:I read that WEP works well. But it disconnects w/ WPA encryption on medium / heavy downloads. Router itself hasn\'t crashed yet. Just disconnects me and I have to repair the connection each time. I\'m returning it.

Summary:I bought this because my old D-Link 713p was broken, and realized this product does the things better than the D-link, with the great price. The install CD even gives you the clear Flash animation to walk you through.

The router setup has more functions than the D-link one, can setup the NTP server to sync time, WEP has no problem like D-link drops signal.

For the price/value it\'s worthy. No problem for me after 3 weeks running days and nights.

Strengths:Small (physically), easy to set up, easy to configure and use the web admin panel, cheap, works well.

Weaknesses:Sometimes crashes and needs to be unplugged and plugged in again when using network hogs like BitTorrent.

Summary:If you\'re looking for a cheap router as a new product or a replacement for a old one, this is a good choice. It\'s cheap, but has a lot of features like the option to specify a SMTP server and have it automatically email you access logs. I bought this because my Linksys router was having problems (kept needing to be reset) and it works just as I expect it to. So yes, a good buy in my opinion. =)

Strengths:(i) Easy Set-up (ii) Both wireless & LAN connectitons(iii) 54MBPS Reliable Wireless Connectivity(iv) All connected devices can be viewed on the router admin page.(v) Home network is possible.

Weaknesses:(i) Weak Customer Support through telephone.

Summary:I installed this product few days back and the whole set-up took only 20 minutes. The connectivity is very good compared to other products. I had a bitter experience with a router from another famous Wireless Router Manufacturer. They replaced the product once but the problem was same. After connecting to a site where there is considerable data transfer rate, the Router used to be done. I need to restart everything to achieve the connection once again.
Finall I decided to through my old router away and buy another one.

I have not heard anything about TRENDNET products earlier. But its quality is very good. My network is never down. I have successfully connected a broadband modem, one desktop computer and one wireless notebook computer to this network. All are running good without any loss of speed.

Also, I am able to bring my LAN connected computer and Wireless connected notebook computer to a Home Network successfully.

I am very satisfied with this product especially for the price I paid.
