Stale stock pervasive. Six-month-old batteries will deliver substantially lower run time in your UPS than a fresh battery from a high-turnover source like a specialist battery supplier.</div><div class="summary"> <b>Summary:</b>You\'re better off buying the manufacturer\'s part number, for example Yuasa NP7-12 is the same product, made in Fleetwood PA, USA by the former Exide company, now a division of Yuasa. This is a very common battery and there are many branded and generic equivalents from other manufacturers like Interstate and Panasonic. At any rate, the branded batteries sell for $15-$18 instead of the ~$33 you\'ll pay for the RBC-51. Use Altavista and Google to find suppliers because Pricegrabber unfortunately doesn\'t list sources for the manufacturer\'s part numbers.
