Software is unacceptable.</div><div class="summary"> <b>Summary:</b>I have owned the Visioneer scanners since the first days when PaperPort and Visioneer were one company.  Each time a new model appears I keep thinking the product will get better for the concept is great.  In any case I have owned the Strobe, Strobe Pro, XP 200 and now tried the XP 220 and returned it.  They keep getting worst with each new unit - you would think nobody ever tested these products before they were released to the market.  The back plasic guide that makes the paper go either up or straight through has never worked right in every single model and this is no exception.  The software for this XP 220 just outright sucks and has so many bugs it would take too much typing to mention all of them.
