Strengths:Linux based firmware, with exceptional featuresWPA2 support, bridge support, repeater support, standalone access point supportnewer firmware (1.9) supports UpNP and easy WPA password setup.
Weaknesses:signal strength is excellent, but not exceptional (it cannot cover my 1900 sqft house, so I used two).
Summary:I have purchased MANY of these routers, but not for use as a router. Our office uses many P-330w routers as a array of access points to provide inexpensive access points for our office. We have used 4 for access points and 2 for a wireless bridge situation. As long as you have a decent understanding of TCP/IP networking, then you will greatly appreciate the powerful features of this router. You would be hard pressed to find an inexpensive router like this with wireless repeating and bridging support. The work perfectly well for us as we use a WPA2 RADIUS environment for wifi access; they integrate perfectly well into Windows Domain authentication.
As a router the device is good, but not the best. I have found the processor on this unit is not as fast as some competitors and thus may not be able to handle large traffic loads as well as other routers. If this is an issue then the user should get a business or enterprise router (such as a Netgear ProSafe model or a ZyWall).
